If business brings you to Seoul, rest assured the South Korean city is packed with things to do. Even if you have little free time during your stay, these sights will give you a taste of the city.

Once the main palace of the Joseon dynasty, Gyeongbokgung was originally constructed in 1395 where it stood until the 1600s. In 1692, it burnt down. The structure was rebuilt in 1867 and is free to visit. If you find yourself in the northern part of Seoul, check out this long-standing piece of Korean history.

The N Seoul Tower will look familiar to anyone who has visited an observation tower. Be that the Space Needle in Seattle or the Tokyo Sky Deck, you know what you’re in for. Take time to travel to the top and get a view of Seoul you could previously only imagine. Enjoying everything the tower has to offer will not eat up too much time, making it a perfect business trip tourism activity.

Namsan is a mountain and park, perfect for folks looking to get outside. This mountainous park offers some hiking and picnic spots. If you just have time to get out of the office for an hour or two, the park offers a great view of Seoul’s skyline.

Dongdaemun Market is so popular it has been designated as a special tourist zone. Similar in scope to Seattle’s Pike Place Market, this market has something for everyone and is well worth a trip.

If history and culture are more to your liking, take a daytrip to visit the National Folk Museum of Korea. This museum is dedicated to the history of South Korea and uses objects and artifacts to bring history to life around visitors. Going through the museum should not take a whole afternoon, so give this one a shot.
