The iconic The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara recently completed a plethora of property enhancements and transformations. The hotel drew inspiration from its surroundings to create reimagined public and functional spaces. Reimagined public spaces include the lobby, reception area, Bacara Bar, Ocean Terrace and The Ritz-Carlton Spa.
“Today marks a momentous occasion for our resort as we unveil an enhanced Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara,” said Roberto Van Geenen, general manager, The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara.
New features to the lobby include carefully curated furnishings forged from natural materials. Metallic accents and other smooth surfaces complement the wood, leather and stone detailing found throughout the space.
Bacara Bar was seamlessly merged with the ocean terrace to provide unobstructed views of the shoreline. Woven sculptures adorn the bar, harkening to the region’s history of basket weaving.
The spa and fitness center have been reinvented with the goal of immediately soothing guests and includes a new outdoor terrace.
The hotel’s new event space can accommodate groups as small as 20 and groups as large as 1,050 in the Bacara Ballroom.
