The Pridwin Hotel & Cottages will host an epic Dirty Dancing-themed weekend this September. Sept. 8–10, guests can embrace nostalgia and step into Dirty Dancing with a Shelter Island, New York, twist.
Soak up the feeling of 1963 with this Dirty Dancing offer, including a variety of themed events and activities to make guests feel like they’re the ones being lifted above Patrick Swayze. The weekend even features honorary guest Eleanor Bergstein, writer and co-producer of the film.
The Dirty Dancing weekend getaway includes:
- A vinyl record player playing the movie’s soundtrack in guestrooms upon arrival; guests are encouraged to take it home
- A Dirty Dancing Happy Hour with I Carried a Watermelon cocktail and light bites
- An intimate conversation with Eleanor Bergstein
- A :She’s Like the Wind Sunset Cruise” on The Pridwin’s private boat
- A full American breakfast on the Terrace
- “Hungry Eyes” barbeque buffet dinner on Pridwin’s Great Lawn
- An “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” farewell brunch
