The Langley, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Buckinghamshire opened outside London in Langley Park. It offers 41 guestrooms across two historic buildings, including the former hunting lodge of the third Duke of Marlborough and an 18th-century brew house. The property received a six-year, multimillion dollar renovation before opening last month.
The main Langley Park House is a Palladian mansion built in the mid-1700s. It contains the Duke of Marlborough Suite, with three bedrooms surrounding an octagonal central room with views of the park and lake. The Brew House provides residential-style rooms and suites. The Brew House was a clock tower and stable in addition to a brewery in its past life.
“Buckinghamshire is a picturesque county full of rolling green hills and stunning gardens, grand castles, and quaint towns with rich history,” said Anthony Ingham, global brand leader, The Luxury Collection. “The Langley is yet another stunning example of The Luxury Collection’s commitment to restoring historic icons across the globe, and our guests will deeply connect with our first hotel in this remarkable destination respite just outside the buzzing city of London.”
The property’s Langley Spa offers vitality pools, hammams, a Himalayan salt sauna, amethyst steam room and marble-lined swimming pool. In addition to treatment rooms, there’s a manicure and pedicure studio, hair salon and lounge. An outdoor swimming pool stretches along the banks of Langley Lake. The property’s fitness center provides one-on-one training that makes use of custom-made equipment and the extensive outdoor space.
Dining at the property includes Cedar, a seasonal restaurant, and Drawing Room, for afternoon tea and light bites. Churchill Bar serves custom cocktails, cigars and cognacs.

Apr 17, 2024Amansara Review
It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
