The Lindis opened late last year on New Zealand’s South Island as the newest luxury lodge in the country. The design-centric property features architecture following the natural flow of the land, a celebration of its location along the Ahuriri Valley conservation park. Surrounded by rugged mountains, wetlands and beech forests, The Lindis is a true retreat with an abundance of opportunities to recharge and reconnect with nature.

The first stage of accommodations opened in November as a series of individual glass pods, perfect for views of the night sky. There are also five individual lodge suites. Three other suites open later this year. Designs source inspiration from the outside environment, incorporating natural rock and timber materials.

Daily dining menus provide healthful and refined local cuisine, created with abundant local produce.
