The Leading Hotels of the World welcomed five new members to its collection of authentic independent luxury hotels. The hospitality group’s collection boasts more than 400 properties in 80 countries, each representing the destination’s design, culture and cuisine. The diverse additions come from Costa Rica, England, France, Singapore and Tunisia. Embodying the collection’s standards of quality and individuality, meet the newest members:

AltaGracia Boutique Hacienda; Perez Zeledón, Costa Rica
AltaGracia Boutique Hacienda is situated on 850 acres of land in southern Costa Rica in the Perez Zeledón mountains. The 50 casitas (small houses) have an atmosphere of private rural residences with exposed wood ceilings, warm-toned fabrics and fireplaces. Outdoor activities, onsite dining and spa services are available.

The Gainsborough Bath Spa; Bath, England
Opening in July, The Gainsborough Bath Spa houses an impressive spa facility. The 4,200-square-foot Spa Village Bath features 11 treatment rooms including a couple’s room and VIP suite. The hotel boasts several exclusive spa guestrooms, offering guests direct in-bathroom access to thermal waters — the only such amenity in England.

Hotel Royal – Evian Resort; Évian-les-Bains, France
Opening on July 1 following a refurbishment, Hotel Royal features 150 guestrooms, a comprehensive wellness and spa program, a golf academy, multiple fine dining options and La Grange au Lac, a concert hall made entirely of wood.

La Badira; Hammamet, Tunisia
Located on the Tunisian seaside, La Badira showcases Islamic architectural elements among the grounds and within the 130 guestrooms. Arched terraces, domed ceilings, columned walkways, gardens with olive trees and date palms, hand-painted ceramic panels with Arabic script and accent pieces in Islamic geometric patterns can be seen throughout the property.
