Newly opened in Aurora, Colorado — the state’s center for biotech and burgeoning health and life sciences research — The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club offers luxury boutique lodging at the renowned University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Positioned to be convenient to both Denver International Airport and downtown Denver, the hotel is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
“We’re proud to introduce a remarkable luxury boutique hotel and a fine dining experience to the medical campus, our neighbors, and greater Denver,” said Peter Walterspiel, general manager, The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club. “We offer unprecedented guest accommodations for the Aurora area, world-class meeting facilities, and a stylish restaurant serving creative cuisine. The Benson Hotel promises to be a game-changer for anyone working in or visiting the area.”
A total of 106 accommodation choices ranges from guestrooms and suites to a floor dedicated to apartment-like suites fitted with kitchens. Standard queen and king options include sitting areas and work spaces. Additional space, small kitchenettes and views of the mountains or gardens are included in expanded studio and premium king rooms, while roomy suites have views of the Colorado Front Range or Rose Garden, with options such as balconies and gas fireplaces.
Other property details include ample meeting and event space, a collection of Western art with more than 100 original new works by Colorado artists, and The Common Good restaurant under the direction of Executive Chef Donovan Davis. Additionally, The Faculty Club is a members-only space offering conference rooms, a full-service bar and private seating.
