Ireland’s famed castle resort Adare Manor celebrates its first holiday season after a two-year restoration and expansion completed in November.
The historic property invites guests for the holidays, offering the best of Irish culture, music and traditions. Complementing its distinguished festive atmosphere, the Manor organized a special yuletide program from Christmas Eve through St. Stephen’s Day for guests who book a two- or three-night stay.
The holiday offer includes daily breakfast, a Champagne afternoon tea in The Gallery, Christmas Day lunch and multicourse dinner on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. An escort service is also available for guests who want to visit the local church for mass on Christmas morning.
The renovation of the stunning 19th-century Neo-Gothic manor house includes a new 42-room wing, a state-of-the-art spa by La Mer, a championship golf course, a grand ballroom and four culinary outlets including The Oak Room overlooking the River Maigue, and The Tack Room, boasting a grand fireplace and cozy leather chairs.
The 842-acre estate is the perfect escape for the holidays, and offers access to several of southern Ireland’s most beautiful landmarks including St. John’s Square and the 13th-century King John’s Castle.
