Sonesta Hotels teamed up with Best Friends Animal Society to support the society’s mission to end homelessness for animals. To celebrate the collaboration, Sonesta Select properties will serve a complimentary, pet-inspired mocktail to guests. These hotels also offer opportunities for guests and team members to donate to help save the lives of dogs, cats and other animals.

We look forward to welcoming our guests at Sonesta Select properties nationwide with a complimentary pet-themed mocktail and support Best Friends Animal Society’s progressive new initiatives and lifesaving programs.”

The mocktail, called Sonesta Puppy Love, features cranberry juice accented with fall flavors like apple, cinnamon and ginger. Upon checking in, guests can access a QR code located on hotel key card sleeves to donate to Best Friends Animal Society. Sonesta also plans to offer animal volunteering opportunities for team members at Best Friends Animal Society centers in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York City, Salt Lake City, Houston and Northwest Arkansas.
The hotel brand also intends to host future animal adoption events and other programs at Sonesta Select properties. Sonesta’s collaboration with Best Friends Animal Society closely follows the May 2022 introduction of PAWS (Pets are Welcome at Sonesta), a program offering amenities to pamper every pet, from feeding bowls to a complimentary dog treat and check-in to specialized pet beds.
