Six Senses Zighy Bay sets sail for its latest out-of-the-ordinary experience. The newly refurbished Dhahab, meaning gold in Arabic, offers one- or two-night voyages for the ultimate sea-hotel adventure.

Travelers who book this unique experience discover the dramatic coastline and fjords of the Musandam with family or friends on a traditional, handcrafted Omani dhow. The vessel features three bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, accommodating up to six travelers. The boat once served as a vessel for traders on voyages across the high seas. Now, the dhow sails the less-discovered side of Oman.

Spend mornings exploring the quaint fishing villages, the afternoons cruising azure waters and famous diving sites and the evenings watching the sun set over the Hajar Mountains.

Your experience won’t be complete without enjoying delicious meals from a specially crafted menu by a private chef — which can also be customized to individual requests or dietary requirements. Six Senses features an Eat with Six Sensesphilosophy, where meals are prepared from locally sourced organic produce and fresh catches of the day.

Guests can even delve into local culinary traditions with a cooking class.”

The voyage takes guests along the waters of Haffa, Sanna’t, Lima, Charia and Hamra. Guests can explore the underwater world, filled with colorful corals and sea creatures with tailor-made dive experiences. During your down time, bring your competitive side out while playing a wide variety of board games or relax in the private lounge and watch a movie. At night, head to the daybeds on the upper deck for stargazing.
