SeaDream Yacht Club announced a more than $10 million renovation project for its twin yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II. The project, completed on SeaDream II, is now underway on SeaDream I, which recently went into drydock in Lisbon, Portugal.

Since its inception in 2001, SeaDream Yacht Club’s yachts have been known for service, award-winning cuisine and an intimate ambiance, with all activities offered in the open air. Each yacht boasts 56 staterooms.
What can cruise-goers expect from the renovation? The dozens of upgrades include:
- Full stateroom renovations involved installing new hardware and soft furnishings and streamlining storage areas to enhance functionality
- Electrical upgrades added USB/USBC ports, WiFi and sensor lighting
- New LED TVs, at 55 inches, offer movies, TV and an infotainment system
- Outside decks boast Bolidt decking for a modern approach to the yachting tradition
- Seóra Balinese Dream Beds, sun loungers and stargazers made from premium mahogany
- Loro Piana Italian upholstery and cushions and Frette Italian towels
- GIOBAGNARA serving trays to deliver an elegant finishing touch
- On outside decks, TUUCI designer parasols and hammocks
- Two couples’ Jacuzzis were added on Deck 6, offering unobstructed 360-degree views
- Two outdoor rain showers were added for cooling off
- An Instagram wall encourages guests to create and share with friends and family while onboard

Guests who’ve had the chance to sail on the upgraded SeaDream II have been quoted as saying “love all the updates,” “simply beautiful” and the “new spaces are outstanding.”
