Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis-class ships Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas greeted each other at sea for the first and probably only time. The record-breaking sister ships came together to celebrate the U.S. arrival of Harmony of the Seas on the eve of the ship’s debut in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The Oasis-class ships are marvels, boasting industry-changing and unexpected onboard experiences featuring seven themed neighborhoods and a number of spectacular features and adventures. Stroll through the tranquil Central Park with nearly 12,000 plants and trees, test your balance on the FlowRider surf simulator or an 82-foot long thrilling zip line that races nine-decks in the air, enjoy the outdoor AquaTheater that hosts high-diving, aquatic and acrobatic performances or pull up a seat at The Rising Tide Bar, the first moving bar at sea.
Harmony of the Seas, the newest of the three, claims the title of the world’s largest cruise ship by a foot in length and 1,700 gross registered tons. The boat features thrilling experiences like imaginative dining, entertainment and VOOM, the fastest internet at sea. Combining the seven-neighborhood concept, Harmony combines modern amenities and offerings to appeal to all ages onboard.
