Through the end of April, adventure seekers can enjoy luxury lodging at Royal Gorge Cabins in the Royal Gorge region of Southern Colorado. Adventure getaways include a two-night stay, a selection of locally made snacks, two Nalgene bottles with souvenir carabiner keychains and a copy of Fremont Adventure Recreation’s Trail Guide to the Royal Gorge Region.

Just a little more than two hours from Denver and less than an hour from Colorado Springs, the cabins are mere minutes away from sites including Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, the Dinosaur Experience, Winery at Holy Cross Abbey and Royal Gorge Route Railroad. With moderate winter temperatures, all can enjoy the area’s abundance of natural beauty. There are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from, including rock climbing, hiking, golf, Jeep tours and fly-fishing on the Arkansas River.

There are nine 600- to 800-square-foot Royal Gorge Cabins, including six two-bedroom king loft cabins with 1.5 baths; and three one-bedroom king cabins with one bath — all with fully equipped kitchens, double-sided gas fireplaces, 400-square-foot landscaped outdoor patios and private parking.
