Australian wildfires have moved swiftly through the contentment, rapidly ravaging most of the country’s coastline and inland Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania. The fires are still raging, with 69 uncontained.

The devastation is ongoing and has so far claimed the lives of at least 25 people and hundreds of millions of animals, some of which are now endangered. With millions of acres of land burning, Australian officials say the fires may rage for months.

The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park began a Go Fund Me in order to combat the damage and to rescue as many animals as possible. Donations will go toward rescuing wildlife, caring for injured animals, continued care and rescue efforts and much more.

To support displaced families, evacuees, firefighters, wildlife and the Red Cross (among many others in need), follow this link for more ways to help.
