Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently announced upcoming efforts to refurbish its entire fleet, a $125 million renovation project. The intention is to expand the décor and style of the luxury Seven Seas Explorer to each of the cruise ships in its fleet for a consistent look.

The project is expected to last two years and will begin with Seven Seas Navigator early this year. Afterward, the ship will feature refurbished suites, lounges, a library, a casino, boutiques, reception and restaurants. After completion, the ship will spend the summer in the Mediterranean and the fall in South Africa. Next year, it’s expected the Seven Seas Navigator will undergo its first world cruise in six years, traversing the globe in 128 nights and visiting 31 countries on six continents.

These renovations will bring a new level of elegance to the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet, strengthening our position as the undisputed leader in luxury cruising, operating the most luxurious ships at sea,” says Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Seven Seas Voyager will follow with renovations in the latter half of the year, with Seven Seas Mariner receiving upgrades as well in early 2017.
