Do you like your vacations with a side of experiential food tours, interactive cooking classes and immersive journeys into local spirits? Red Savannah is ready to pique your palates with new itineraries with the gourmand in mind.

The luxury tour operator just launched four experiences aiming to bring the essence of each destination to life, uncovering the flavors as well as the culture and people. The itineraries are aimed for both parents and children — an alternative to screen time by broadening horizons and offering a literal taste of a location.

The four new journeys are:

• A Taste of Scotland’s Larder: An eight-day journey with a home base at Gleneagles Hotel. Guests travel through Scotland and not only taste the country’s delicacies, but also learn how to make them. At Stirling Castle, they’ll whip up the classic dish of haggis, neeps and tatties. In Edinburgh, they’ll use ingredients they’ve collected from the region’s best producers in a cooking class run by a chef who’s a favorite of the British royal family. They’ll also taste oysters at Loch Fyne; forage for produce; learn about Scottish whisky on a distillery visit; and dine at Restaurant by Andrew Fairlie, Scotland’s only two-Michelin-starred restaurant.
• Paris for Gourmands: This experience includes a jaunt around some of the top neighborhoods in the City of Lights, accompanied by the most knowledgeable and passionate guides. Guests explore the best patisseries, boulangeries and delicatessens; take a foodie walking tour of the Marais; dine at Alaine Ducasse’s on-site restaurant; and accompany a chef to a market in Montmartre before heading back to his kitchen to use the ingredients in a meal. They’ll also have the chance to take a trip to the Champagne region to learn about and taste the world’s best sparkling wines.
• A Culinary Tour of Sri Lanka: A 10-day, food-themed private tour around some of the island’s most scenic places, highlights include a private Sinhalese cooking class with one of the country’s best chefs, dinner at the legendary Ministry of Crab, a barbecue with a view and breakfast among the paddy fields in Tea Country, and Tamil cuisine at the home of a Tea Country Host. Guests also spot leopards and elephants in Yala National Park and enjoy a jungle afternoon tea, have a meeting with Sri Lanka’s “Sapphire King” to learn about gemstones during a culinary demonstration, take a toddy workshop in Galle and go lagoon fishing with local fishermen culminating in a seafood barbecue on the beach.
• Thailand Culinary Adventure: This experience is a private journey from the northern to the southern part of the country. Guests learn to create Lanna-style dishes in a rural family home in northern Thailand, do a tuk tuk street food tour in Bangkok, enjoy the seafood and island-inspired cuisine in Phuket, and enjoy one of the island’s top beaches.
