Qatar Airways took delivery of its first Airbus A380 aircraft, featuring 48 full-flat bed seats in business class and eight in first class. The newly launched superjumbo will conduct training flights before offering service to London Heathrow Airport from Oct. 10. Qatar has nine additional A380s on order and three additional options. Three more 517-seat double-deckers are expected to be inducted into the Qatar fleet before the end of the year, flying daily to London and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
