Princess Cruises recently announced a new lineup of chocolate offerings as a part of their Chocolate Journeys menu. The new offerings were created in conjunction with Chef Norman Love, master chocolatier and pastry designer. Chef Love has been recognized by many publications and worked as an executive pastry chef for Ritz-Carlton before coming to Princess Cruises.
The new additions to the Chocolate Journeys collection will be available in early 2016. At this time, the Horizon Court will begin featuring gourmet chocolate incorporated into savory breakfast dishes and a new and different chocolate cake every evening. The International Café will also feature new, specially created chocolate delicacies each day, including Chef Love’s premium chocolate cookies. Afternoon tea will also feature chocolate offerings, as will the main dining room.
In a coinciding effort, Wakefield Research also conducted a chocolate-themed survey on behalf of Princess Cruises to confirm the cruise line is on the right track with their expanded chocolate menu. The survey revealed 51 percent of American adults admit to having a “chocolate addiction,” with 68 percent indulging in their favorite treat on a weekly basis.
