Highlights of the afternoon tea service’s sweet and savory choices include a lemon meringue tart made with sable, mixed berry cheesecake with strawberry compote, forest mushrooms on toast finished with wasabi cream and a baby quiche prepared with vegan cream cheese.
To sip? Tasty botanical concoctions include a kaffir lime mule whipped up with house-made ginger beer, an Earl Grey Sour and an Ovolo classic Bellini, which can be made with raspberry, apricot, peach or lavender.
Offered in five separate two-hour sessions throughout the week, the innovative afternoon treat can be enjoyed with a glass of sparkling rosé wine, free-flowing tea and coffee; with free-flowing Bandini Prosecco, tea and coffee; with free-flowing Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, tea and coffee; or inclusive of a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Blason rosé for two guests, plus tea and coffee. Different prices apply to the choice of service.
Reflecting modern luxury and cutting-edge design, Ovolo Woolloomooloo is part of the Ovolo Hotels group founded in 2002 by Girish Jhunjhnuwala.
