This fall, slip away to California wine country at the brand new Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles. The luxury resort is positioned on 20 acres covered with wine grapes, olives and fruit trees, along with a chef’s garden, walking paths and landscaped Mediterranean gardens. The property includes 171 guestrooms and suites with balconies or terraces, plus a 12,000-square-foot courtyard, pool, cabanas and spa. Elsewhere, there’s a French-inspired Abbey and ballroom, and both indoor and outdoor event space perfect for meetings.
Named for the musical term that’s never too fast or too slow, Allegretto’s guest rooms feature 14-foot ceilings, Allegretto Dream Sleeper pillow-top mattresses, custom linens, comfy robes and slippers and specially crafted amenities. Designed on the model of an Italian vineyard estate, the resort is home to Cello Ristorante & Bar where Executive Chef Eric Olson’s menu of dishes composed of regional ingredients is rounded out with a wide selection of artisanal beers, craft cocktails and an extensive wine list. The Spa at Allegretto features fabulous treatments, plus Glow Dance Fitness classes, yoga class alternative Chära and zero gravity chairs for weightless chilling out.
