Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ Ocean Prime brand plans to open its first Las Vegas restaurant, and 18th location, in 2023 as the anchor restaurant within 63, a new, multilevel retail and hospitality complex. CMR plans to invest nearly $20 million into Ocean Prime’s new flagship location, centered at the bustling and iconic corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.

The restaurant will be more than 14,500 square feet, with a nearly 2,500 square-foot rooftop terrace, including more than 400 seats, two bars and three private dining rooms. This premier location, four stories above the Las Vegas Strip, offers unparalleled views from the entire restaurant and outdoor patio lounge.

Nationally recognized designer Karen Herold, principal, Studio K, leads the way in designing Ocean Prime Las Vegas.  The restaurant design is inspired by the meeting of land and sea, from the lounge with soft waves elements, hues of the ocean and lighter tones, to the main dining room with earthy hues intermixed with deep dark blue shades of water. The outdoor patio and lounge area seeks to allow guests to take in the breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip while evoking the feeling of being at a resort by the sea.

“We have been searching for a Las Vegas location for quite some time, and once we set sights on this space with its desirable locale and views of the action on the Strip, we were confident we had found the perfect spot,” said Cameron Mitchell, founder and CEO, CMR. “Our Las Vegas restaurant will be an iconic location for the Ocean Prime brand. The restaurant is ideally situated on the rooftop of 63 and our guests from around the country and the world will be able to take in the energy and excitement of the Strip while they experience our ‘yes is the answer’ hospitality and our highly executed culinary and beverage offerings.”

Ocean Prime’s menu of seafood and steaks, hand-crafted cocktails, special features and desserts include the Berries + Bubbles cocktail, a Wine Spectator-awarded wine list, the smoking shellfish tower, sea scallops with Parmesan risotto, prime steaks, 10-layer carrot cake and warm butter cake.

A four-story retail and hospitality center, 63 will consist of 243,000 square feet of space, with the upper floors offering breathtaking views of the Strip. The complex will be constructed by the development team of Brett Torino with Torino Companies and New York-based Dayssi and Paul Kanavos of Flag Luxury, along with award-winning designers from Arquitectonica of Miami Beach.  In addition to Ocean Prime, other tenants will be announced soon; 63 is expected to debut in fall 2022 and open completely in spring 2023.

Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh Review

Phnom Penh as we imagined it stretches beneath us: a picturesque, low-rise mix of Southeast Asian and French Colonial styles. When the inhabitants of those buildings look back at us here in the Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Chip Mong Tower, they see the future.

Amansara Review

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
