Norwegian Cruise Line reveals exiting new entertainment programming on Norwegian Bliss, the line’s 16th ship that will sail to Alaska and the Caribbean in June 2018.
The cruise line will bring the best of Broadway to the sea with the 2006 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Jersey Boys, and a completely new and original show created by Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Warren Carlyle.
Jersey Boys goes behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and follows four kids as they work their way from the streets of New Jersey to stardom. Guests can enjoy the show’s hit songs including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Oh What A Night.”
The exclusive original musical theater show created specifically for Norwegian Bliss will be a Cuban-inspired, Broadway-style musical featuring dance, colorful pageantry and lively music.
The cruise ship will also feature a new comedy club and nightlife venue called Alibi; a new theatrical cocktail hour experience, Happy Hour Prohibition – The Musical; and an outpost of the iconic Beatles’ venue, The Cavern Club.
Norwegian is known for its vibrant entertainment, and Norwegian Bliss will build on the company’s reputation with its two main stage shows.
