Thomas Cook Airlines now offers its new Sleeper Seat on long-haul routes between Manchester (MAN) and New York (JFK) or San Francisco (SFO). The Sleeper Seat combines three seats in a row into a bed for easy sleeping in economy class. Upgrades to the Sleeper Seat are available for as little as $260 one-way.

Sleeper Seats are situated at the back of the aircraft and are available when passengers have a row of three seats to themselves. The Sleeper Seat includes a mattress with a fitted sheet, head rest, pillow, blanket and amenity kit, along with the normal economy-class amenities such as in-flight dining and entertainment.

It is a fantastic way to transform your flying experience and enjoy some extra comfort when flying in economy,” said Henry Sunley, commercial director, Thomas Cook Airlines. “It’s flexible too, as while only one person can use Sleeper Seat at a time, you can swap with other people in your group during the flight…but it’s entirely up to you if you want to share!”

The Sleeper Seat is available for passengers 12 years old and up.
