Indianapolis International Airport celebrates its first-ever nonstop flight to Key West, set to start in December. The Key West flight marks No. 21 in a lineup of non-stop flights announced so far in 2021, and the fifth new destination out of Indy added by Allegiant.
“Key West is one of the most unique destinations in the United States, but until now it has been hard to get there,” said Mario Rodriguez, executive director, Indianapolis Airport Authority. “In December that changes — Hoosiers will be able to easily travel to the Florida Keys and enjoy everything this destination has to offer.”
Allegiant will begin a new non-stop route to Key West, Florida, beginning Dec. 1. The flight from IND to EYW will operate twice per week. For flight days, times and the lowest available fares, visit allegiant.com. Indianapolis-area travelers can also save on rental cars and hotels with Allegiant.
“With its year-round sunshine, incredible beaches and attractions, Key West is one of the most sought-after destinations in the U.S. right now,” said Drew Wells, senior vice president of revenue and network planning, Allegiant. “We expect it to be an even bigger draw for leisure travelers seeking an affordable, convenient vacation spot for warm winter getaways.”
