A new luxury hotel opened at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, providing travelers to the region with a new, upscale stay option. Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport is minutes from the airport, The Design Center of the Americas and Fort Lauderdale Everglades Cruise Port.
The 12-story property offers nearly 250 guestrooms and suites, with design and furnishings paying homage to both sea and sky in a minimalistic, modern fashion. The design features a blue and gray color palette and incorporates headboards engrained with city maps.
Five dining and drinking options are located at the hotel, including Latitude/Longitude Bar, serving light fare; Toro Latin Kitchen, with its South American menu; La Bibloteca de Tequila, a tequila bar and lounge; Constellation Cafe, for French cuisine; and an outdoor, poolside bar with Caribbean influences.
Other spaces include the Club Lounge, with airport views; a 1,200-square-foot fitness center and yoga room; 82-foot, zero-entry pool; outdoor terrace; and coffee shop.
“With a nostalgic nod to the glamor of the French Riviera in the 1960s, Le Méridien inspires travelers to explore the world in style, savor the good life and enjoy experiences that offer something more than meets the eye,” said George Fleck, vice president of global brand marketing and management, Le Méridien. “The debut of this hotel is part of the brand’s significant growth strategy and further reinforces our brand’s commitment to ensuring that guests experience destinations around the globe through the lens of its European spirit.”
