InterContinental Hotel Groups, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, reached an agreement with Exopuri Development Sdn Bhd to build a 288-room Holiday Inn & Suites in Penang. The hotel, located in the lively district of Prai, will be the tallest building on mainland Penang in Malaysia, reaching a towering 35 stories. Known as the “Silicone Valley of the East,” Penang is an ideal location for the new hotel, situated near Prai’s largest lifestyle hubs, Auto City and Icon City, which feature a wide selection of bars, restaurants and entertainment options.

The new Holiday Inn & Suites will feature four restaurants and bars, a sleek lobby lounge, a pool bar and rooftop sky bar, 12 meeting rooms and a ballroom, an outdoor pool, fitness center and spa, among other luxury amenities.
