One of Europe’s oldest and most vibrant cities, Kraków is a rare destination that truly offers something for everyone, from history buffs to modern art fans. It also boasts an extensive infrastructure designed to support corporate gatherings, making it both a memorable and practical choice for event planners.

What makes Kraków especially attractive is its status as an intensely academic city with 23 universities. As a result, the city’s inherently innovative environment supports high-level international events and intellectual discourse alongside amenities such as a strong café culture and live performances that make college towns so appealing.

Kraków occupies an enviable central European location, making it easily accessible for delegates from the United States and around the world. Kraków Airport offers more than 160 regular connections, bringing millions of visitors to the city each year.

Moreover, many of Kraków’s key hotels, venues, attractions and restaurants lie within comfortable walking distance of one another. The city’s extensive tram and bus system, as well as an active ride-sharing network, offer simple and convenient solutions for delegates to reach events and explore the city.

To accommodate events, Kraków offers more than 190 conference venues with 770 meeting rooms. Venues include a mix of traditional, historical and off-beat options. Kraków is home to three major multifunctional, state-of-the-art facilities capable of hosting large-scale international events or smaller gatherings.

With a flexible layout and a capacity exceeding 22,000 people, TAURON Arena Kraków accommodates a wide range of events including large-scale conventions, specialized business events, exhibitions and performances. Its advanced technical infrastructure and extensive backstage and exhibition areas make the arena a popular choice for all types of meetings and events.

Expo Kraków can host up to 5,000 participants, and with approximately 161,000 square feet of column-free space, it makes an ideal location for exhibitions. Designed specifically for high-profile business events, ICE Kraków Congress Centre accommodates up to 3,200 guests. It features an advanced audiovisual infrastructure; excellent acoustics; and a range of flexible spaces including a main auditorium, theater hall and numerous breakout rooms. The center’s ideal location in the heart of the city overlooks the Vistula River and historic Wawel Castle.

Visitors staying in the city can choose from nearly 200 hotels offering almost 24,000 beds, plus a plethora of short-term rental options. International hotel chains intermingle with boutique hotels reflecting local culture. Several of the city’s larger hotels offer on-site facilities for professional meetings and conferences; for example, DoubleTree by Hilton Krakow Hotel & Convention Centre includes 16 conference rooms capable of hosting up to 2,000 participants.

Kraków’s mix of landmarks, historical sites and attractions complements MICE events. Old Town dates back to the city’s founding in the 13th century; today, visitors love getting lost in the area’s small cobblestone streets lined with shops and restaurants. The historic Kazimierz district beckons with its lively nightlife, a mix of traditional and modern dining, and live traditional music.

Additionally, the city brims with World War II historical sites and UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill and the underground chambers of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, both of which function as meeting or social venues.

UNIQUE VENUES
Fabryczna 13 Conference Centre (Factory 13) is a multifunctional venue located on the site of a former vodka factory in one of Kraków’s historic districts. The complex includes a 4-star hotel, a restaurant promenade and Vodka Factory Museum, creating an ideal environment for meetings and social events.

Approximately 18 miles from Kraków, the extraordinary underground chambers of Wieliczka Salt Mine offer both modern, business-oriented spaces and atmospheric interiors inspired by miners’ banquets of centuries past.

Wawel Castle’s Exhibition and Conference Centre provides a regal venue for meetings and events. The centrally located historical site sits adjacent to the Vistula River area, a scenic location for networking events or evening
receptions.

Inspired by Neo-Baroque architecture, Juliusz Słowacki Theatre offers an ideal location for gala events with seating for almost 600 guests. More intimate receptions for up to 150 guests can take place in the theater’s impressive foyer.

Sun, Sea, Cliffs and Bridges Beckon on the Pacific Coast Highway

On one side, waves breathe in and out across wide stretches of sand or explode against jagged rocks, sending spray shooting into the air. On the other side, the scenery changes: Cliffs rise like walls, vineyards clip past in neat rows, pine trees line the road. Between these, cities give way to small communities with art galleries, local restaurants and shops selling beachwear.
