Mandarin Oriental announced its entry into the South Korean market with a new luxury hotel in Seoul, slated to open in 2030. The property will lie in the city’s Central Business District, north of the Han River, and encompass 128 guestrooms and suites.

Acclaimed designer André Fu has been appointed to create the hotel’s interior. Culinary experiences take center stage at the property. A destination restaurant will occupy the hotel’s 21^st floor, complete with panoramic city views, while the 20^th floor will be home to two distinct culinary concepts. One will offer elevated international dishes echoing the spirit of SOMM at Mandarin Oriental, The Landmark Hong Kong, the other specializing in refined Chinese cuisine. On the same floor, a high-end Korean Chef’s Counter will open, too, offering an immersive and theatrical dining experience.

On the ground floor, guests can enjoy a bar, lounge and The Mandarin Cake Shop. A number of dining venues will also include private dining rooms. Elegant event and meeting facilities, including a grand ballroom, versatile function rooms and private outdoor terrace, will also be available.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental will offer guests immersive experiences through core themes like Traditional Healing, Future Bathing, K Beauty, Mind Reset and Body Performance. The destination spa will cover four floors and include a swimming pool, fitness center and private outdoor terrace. Other facilities, like a golf academy with multiple simulators, a multi-ball court, games room and dedicated kids’ club, are also slated to grace the property.
