There’s been a trend in the restaurant industry of restaurants (especially high-end ones) outlawing children. Now, Manchester Airport is planning to do so for a new luxury lounge opening at Terminal 3.
The so-called 1903 lounge will open in April and is named after the year the Wright brothers first took flight. Upon booking a space in the lounge, guests will receive a free Fast Track security pass. Guests must be 18 years and older to enter.
The lounge will have space for 71 people and will offer complimentary hot and cold buffets, self-serve soft drinks, tea, coffee and free alcoholic beverages. There will also be scanning, printing and fax facilities.
Passengers can book entry in advance for £30, or pay at the door for £35. Passes went on sale Feb. 1.
