Loews Regency Hotel’s new offer is inspired by icon Marilyn Monroe. Launched this month to coincide with what would have been the bombshell’s 89th birthday, the premium gives travelers to New York the opportunity to experience the city as Marilyn would have, including a private shopping outing to Bloomingdales.
Guests booking the special enjoy an overnight stay in the Loews Regency’s new Glamour or Pop Art suites, which debuted in December 2014 as the culmination of the hotel’s $100 million renovation. The Glamour Suite is all about Marilyn, a reimagining of what might have been her Park Avenue pied-à-terre. The Pop Art Suite is Warhol-esque with black and white accents and bold graphics. Both are stocked with Monroe films and concession-inspired snacks.
The star-studded offer also includes:
- A take-home boxed DVD set of Marilyn The Premiere Collection
- A take-home coffee table book, Marilyn in Fashion: The Enduring Influence of Marilyn Monroe
- Anything from the concession-inspired minibar
- Blow-out at the Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa
- Bloomingdales signature black leather wallet with fashion-filled offers including a complimentary styling appointment
- Map of Marilyn’s favorite haunts and landmarks from her films for a self-guided walking tour
Available through Sept. 7, rates begin at $1,199. The hotel re-debuted in 2014 following an extensive renovation of its 379 guestrooms and 58 suites. The Regency Bar & Grill is home of the famed power breakfast, located on New York’s Park Avenue.
