One of Singapore’s highest-profile hotels is returning to service after more than two years of comprehensive renovations.

Raffles Singapore entered a three-phase restoration in February 2017. Since then, the flagship Accor property has undergone transformations to totally elevate the comfort, luxury and service of the property.

“There are few hotels in the world whose names have become virtually synonymous with the cities in which they are located — and none more so than the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. The newly restored Raffles will provide an experience like no other,” said Christian Westbeld, general manager, Raffles Singapore.

The new Raffles experience creates luxurious stays for all guests. Suite-only accommodations across nine distinct suite categories means there is a suite for every guest. The restoration brings the total suites to 115 from 103. The Raffles Arcade also received an update, with new retail brands, restaurants and bars.

“Raffles Singapore is one of the few remaining great 19th century hotels in the world and its restoration has been carefully designed to preserve its unique historic charm, while creating extraordinary experiences for our esteemed guests,” Westbeld said.

The hotel first opened in 1887 and was declared a national monument in 1987.
