Over the weekend, I stayed at Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn in Lambertville, New Jersey, for a wedding. Since I was a bridesmaid, I arrived much earlier than check-in, so, for the time being, I stored my stuff in the maid of honor’s room. Check-in was supposed to be at 3 p.m., but since they knew we were part of the wedding party, we got a call saying our room was ready early and we could come get our keys.
Each room had a number and was also named after a city around the world. The door keys were actual keys attached to a circular gold plate with your room’s city written on it. There’s no forgetting what room you are in.
There were four of us in the room, so we booked a deluxe two queen-bed guestroom. The room was spacious and the perfect fit for all four of us to keep our stuff, get ready and more. When you walk in the door, there was a spacious closet to the left with hangers, robes, slippers and a safe. On the right was the bathroom; the sink and mirror were first, then, when you kept walking, the toilet and shower were separated by a door. The bathroom was spacious.
As you kept walking into the room, the two queen beds were to the right, across from a dresser with a TV. Past the beds was a little dining area with two chairs and a table, as well as a desk. The one downside was there wasn’t a refrigerator or microwave in the room. The room also came with a coffeemaker, coffee, cups, tea and two water bottles.
One of my favorite aspects about the layout was our room was on the same floor as the ballroom, so it was convenient to store my phone, purse and change of shoes during the ceremony and then quickly retrieve them for the reception. I also ran to use the bathroom whenever needed instead of waiting for the one in the ballroom to be free.
The staff was nice and super accommodating; they let us know someone would be at the front desk 24/7 in case we needed anything.
The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, little escape or for the wedding of your dreams. No matter what you are looking for, Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn has something for you.
