Nestled between mountains and the Mediterranean on the island of Corsica, La Signoria Calvi is an elegant refuge made up of 29 air-conditioned rooms, suites and casettas. Back in the day, the villa and surrounding vineyards were made a gift to Murat de la Serpière by King Louis XV. Today, the property includes a detached Travel House for extended stays, beautifully surrounded by parkland and gardens. Five separate casetta bungalows offer seclusion and privacy with their own gardens and swimming pools. There’s complimentary WiFi throughout, and guest spaces include beautiful antique furnishings, local art and either a terrace or balcony. The on-site gourmet restaurant specializes in traditional Corsican dishes that feature freshly caught seafood and luscious local produce, jams, honeys and handcrafted products.
