The joint venture between Delta Air Lines and Korean Air saw its first route addition since the venture’s announcement in May of this year.
Korean Air and Delta Air Lines announced the addition of routes between Boston (BOS) and Seoul (ICN) and between Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) and Seoul.
“By combining the schedules of Korean Air and Delta, our customers are able to enjoy unparalleled travel options,” said John Jackson, managing vice president, Korean Air. “Our joint venture is undeniably the strongest transpacific partnership and provides both of our airlines with a solid competitive edge.”
Korean Air’s new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will operate the routes. The aircraft feature six sleeper suites, 18 Prestige business-class sleeper suites and 245 economy seats.
