Kempinski’s Hotel Adriatic Istria in Croatia is welcoming American travelers this summer for an incredible 5-star experience. Despite being a member of the European Union, Croatia is welcoming American passport holders with advance vacation plans and confirmed hotel reservations.

Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Kempinski Adriatic Istria is one of the most-coveted hotels in the country with views to spare. The resort’s 186 rooms boast luxurious, modern architecture with touches of traditional Croatian design.

Guests enjoy world-class dining at two on-site restaurants, two swimming pools, an epic 30,000-square-foot Carolea Spa, an 18-hole golf course, easy access to the beach and nearby attractions, including charming Istria villages, the Motovun Forest (famous for large truffles) and Pula’s amphitheater, dating back to the first century.

Getting to Croatia

Direct flights and connections from the United States are available to Zagreb (ZAG) on American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines. Visitors can also fly with British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines.

Upon Arrival

American travelers must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test, taken within 48 hours of arrival.

During Your Stay

Kempinski boasts a White Glove Service standard — developed during the coronavirus pandemic — for all 77 of its hotels worldwide. The Kempinski Adriatic Istria can arrange transfers between the resort and the airport, if required, to minimize shared public spaces.

Amansara Review

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
