On the edge of Vancouver’s False Creek, where the water bends around the city’s stadium district, JW Marriott Parq Vancouver offers both skyline and shoreline in a single frame. The hotel is part of Parq Vancouver complex, folding in restaurants, bars and the city’s only downtown casino.
Its 329 rooms and suites are generous by downtown standards, beginning around 380 square feet, and include expansive windows and plush appointments. Even in entry-level categories, those windows frame slices of city, stadium or waterfront, but upgraded rooms and suites take full advantage. Mountain, marina and skyline views collide in configurations like the Sky Suite and Parq Villa. These higher-tier suites bring in abundant light through floor-to-ceiling windows, spa bathrooms, sculptural lighting and furnishings, and seating areas designed not only for lounging but also for taking in the city from a calm distance. You may even find a front-row seat to a stare-worthy view from your soaking tub.

On the 17th floor, Spa by JW takes a minimalist approach to high-impact treatments. There are signature massages and facials using sustainably sourced products, but the sleeper highlight may be the view: The Aqua Lounge hydrotherapy terrace peers over False Creek, and so do some of the treatment rooms, should your eyes remain open. This is where to go to practice yoga with sunset views, too. Even without booking some spa time, you can still make use of the light-filled fitness studio, open 24 hours.

Access to the hotel’s Executive Lounge is reserved for guests with qualifying bookings, as well as Marriott Bonvoy elites. Behind key card access on the fourth floor, the setting is large yet private, with comfortable seating and a steady flow of natural light from full-height windows looking out to the city’s stadium district. Mornings bring a proper breakfast with hot selections and barista-style coffee, while evenings feature hors d’oeuvres and wines.
JW Marriott’s dining options span multiple moods thanks to the broader Parq Vancouver complex that includes the hotel. On the sixth floor, The Victor anchors the culinary scene with a modern steak and seafood menu, plush booths and a notable sushi selection, all framed by a rooftop garden terrace. Dishes lean local (think sablefish with miso glaze) and the cocktail list matches the moody-glam aesthetic of the dining room.

One floor below, Honey Salt embraces a relaxed, home-style sensibility. Breakfast and brunch menus include dishes like avocado toast, eggs Benedict, pancakes and a charming breakfast board. Dinner tends toward approachable comfort food from a global pantry, including dishes like buttermilk fried chicken with mac and cheese, shrimp scampi linguine, and roasted jidori chicken.
Elsewhere within the Parq complex, several more venues connect directly to the hotel. Koi offers an intimate, high-design setting for craft cocktails and chic noodles, while nearby BC Kitchen is a lively sports bar with cozy comfort foods like burgers, pizzas and Mexican-inspired plates.

The hotel’s location does much of the heavy lifting when it comes to access. You’re steps from major sports and concert venues, a few minutes’ walk to the seawall circling the city’s inner harbor, and close to Stadium–Chinatown SkyTrain station for easy airport or downtown connections. But beyond convenience, the setting also offers some surprise serenity. Rooms facing the water catch early morning kayakers slicing through the inlet. A pleasant walk over Cambie Bridge takes you to Olympic Village’s breweries and parks, while the opposite direction leads into Gastown’s brick-paved charm.
