Dec. 16, 2017, in New York City, John F. Kennedy International Airport welcomed the first plane to house the luxurious QSuite class onboard a Qatar Airways flight. Found on Boeing 777 vessels, the state-of-the-art business class will be available on flights from New York (JFK) to Doha (DOH), and from Washington-Dulles International Airport in the future.

Qsuite seats are the first to offer double beds and private cabins to accommodate a total of four passengers. Despite the capacity, passengers will be able to take advantage of privacy features such as adjustable panels that stow away when not in use and portable TV monitors.

Travelers who require a collaborative space to work and communicate with other passengers can join suites together to make one cohesive co-working space, each of which features a private monitor and desk to set up laptops. Guests can also join suites together if they choose to dine or socialize while in flight. Qatar Airways hopes these new features will be attractive to business travelers who need to commute between two large East Coast cities and the Middle East.
