InterContinental Hotels Group continues to expand the footprint of its new lifestyle brand, voco. Recently, IHG announced plans for new voco properties in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Reading, England.

The Reading property is slated to open by the end of the year. Property plans include more than 200 guestrooms. The location provides travelers with easy access to nearby museums and gardens, as well as transport to London. The voco Reading property is the fourth voco property in the United Kingdom, following voco Oxford Thames, voco St. David’s Cardiff and voco St. John’s Solihull.

The Jeddah property is the third voco property planned for Saudi Arabia and follows the announcement of the world’s largest voco, set for Makkah. Voco Jeddah Gate opens January 2021 as IHG’s sixth overall hotel in Jeddah. The property promises nearly 700 guestrooms and a premium location near King Abdulaziz International Airport. Plans include extensive meeting and event facilities and dining options.
