Hyatt Centric Carlisle Bay, Barbados is scheduled to open in 2019 as the first Hyatt-branded hotel on the island. Hyatt Centric is a millennial-geared lifestyle hotel brand just recently starting its international expansion. The first international Hyatt Centric debuted in Uruguay in June. “Hyatt continues to focus on expanding its presence in Latin America and the Caribbean where our loyal guests want to travel. We are thrilled to announce that the Hyatt Centric brand is coming to this vibrant tropical island, and we believe Hyatt Centric Carlisle Bay, Barbados will offer a fresh new option for travelers looking to explore this historic and picturesque destination. The addition of Hyatt Centric Carlisle Bay, Barbados to the brand’s portfolio allows us to meet the needs of our guests traveling on leisure or business in this important region,” said Pat McCudden, senior vice president, capital strategy, real estate and corporate development, Hyatt. Hyatt Centric Carlisle Bay, Barbados is a 237-guestroom resort on three acres of waterfront shoreline and beach. The area offers multiple diving and snorkeling opportunities, as well as historic and UNESCO World Heritage sites. In addition to guestrooms, the resort includes 32 residential condominiums. Guests can choose from several dining options, including a signature restaurant, pool bar and grill and market-style café. A full-service spa offers six treatment rooms and a fitness center. Meeting and event space is also available.
