Situated on Nicoya Peninsula, Hotel Nantipa, an idyllic Costa Rican wellness retreat, recently announced the opening of its first-ever beachfront villas. Perfect for retreats, intimate groups and families, the two new three-bedroom accommodations allow guests to explore the surrounding region and recharge with upscale comfort.
“We are thrilled to welcome travelers to their nurturing home away from home in our new Beachfront Villas,” said Harry Hartman, owner and general manager, Hotel Nantipa – A Tico Beach Experience. “We are dedicated to ensuring visitors fully enjoy the Tico Beach Experience, blending barefoot luxury and the healing properties of the natural environment with unparalleled comfort and service in the paradise known as Santa Teresa.”
Encompassing nearly 2,000 square feet, the villas feature a full kitchen, dining area and three guestrooms, each with stunning ocean views and ensuite bathrooms. Two of the guestrooms include luxurious king beds, and the third offers two queen beds. Combing beach chic designs with biophilic wood accents and modern amenities, guests will have the chance to reconnect with nature and themselves. The villas also boast floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening out to the private outdoor deck. The outdoor area also includes an infinity pool and exclusive beach access to Nicoya Peninsula.
In addition to these amenities, a 24-hour private concierge service connects villa guests with Nantipa’s exceptional services. Fitness instructors, private chefs, babysitters and mixologists are available solely for villa guests. Nantipa encourages guests to embark on the many adventures awaiting them, from world-class surfing to yoga, paddleboarding, scuba diving and whale watching. Hike Montezuma Waterfall, walk through Cabo Blanco National Park and Curú Reserve and enjoy a horseback riding excursion through the area.
Guests of the villa will not only enjoy the new accommodations, amenities and adventures, but will also better enjoy their time knowing Nantipa is fully committed to preserving the natural Costa Rican environment and supporting the surrounding community. The hotel incorporates locally crafted furniture and utilizes a state-of-the-art waste-water treatment plant. Only six trees were cut to build the hotel, designed with reclaimed wood. The hotel also uses solar water heaters and energy sensors to create an eco-friendlier property and community.

Apr 17, 2024Amansara Review
It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.
