Hotel Bennett, a Charleston favorite, recently introduced a new Signature Series for guests to enjoy the best of the best in Charleston through the lens of Hotel Bennett. The series is a curated lineup of one-of-a-kind experiences designed to highlight the artistry, flavor and craftsmanship of culture in Charleston.

On Aug. 27, 6 to 8 p.m., Don’t RuinArt returns for its second year in the Piazza. Maison Ruinart celebrates the artistry of Champagne and creative expression. Guests can peruse work from local artists and mingle with Charleston artists like Julia Deckman, Taylor Faulkner, Lyn Marler, Sarah Ferreira and Savannah Strickroth. Enjoy sips of Ruinart Champagne, taste delicious bites and listen to live music against the backdrop of Marion Square.

Foodies won’t want to miss this experience. The Artist’s Palate was inspired by Amiri Farris and Sonja Evans, and will take place Sept. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. For the event, Chef Edgar Kano created a bespoke menu featuring courses that reflect the themes, textures and stories from artists’ creations. Throughout the event, guests can listen to stories and insights from Farris and Evans, including details about their artistic process and the cultural narratives behind their work. Certain pieces will be on display and available for purchase.
On Sept. 20, guests with little travelers can introduce them to the art of etiquette during A Proper Morning at Camellias, Hotel Bennett’s iconic pink Champagne bar. The event pairs afternoon tea with an etiquette workshop designed for kids. Young travelers will learn basic and essential manners such as graceful greetings, polite conversation, table etiquette and the finer points of tea service.
