Hilton Worldwide unveiled a rebranded, remodeled property at the Edinburgh Airport. The company’s former Hilton Edinburgh Airport now nests under the group’s Doubletree arm after a £2.5 million facelift.
Now called the Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport, the hotel includes 150 newly refurbished rooms plus Space Restaurant, Living Well leisure club and 22 meeting rooms.
The hotel is located on Eastfield Road, about five minutes from the terminal building at the airport. The hotel offers a complimentary 24-hour shuttle service for guests traveling to and from the airport.
Hilton also converted its Swindon hotel to its Doubletree brand after an investment and renovation effort. The 171-room hotel sits on the edge of Edinburgh town center and involves 14 Twelve Brasserie restaurant, 15 meeting rooms, a 350-person capacity ballroom and a newly renovated fitness center.
With these and a few other recent additions, Doubletree brings its UK property number to 32.
