Tasty stays are on the menu at Malliouhana, Auberge Resorts Collection in Anguilla, British West Indies. The new Flavors of Malliouhana program is part of Auberge Resorts Collection’s Taste of Auberge series, and will be offered throughout 2022 at select properties. The series will pair restaurant pop-ups with exclusive chef collaborations featuring big names from the culinary world. The program launches with New York-based award-winning chef, author and television personality JJ Johnson.

“I love the luxury experience of Auberge Resorts Collection, which is why I could not be more excited for this inspiring partnership at Malliouhana, a destination that is very close to my heart,” shared Johnson. “Bringing my personal cooking style and background of working in high-end restaurants to such a beautiful location while bringing people together over delicious and nourishing food made with local, sustainable ingredients is a dream fulfilled.”

Johnson’s signature Caribbean cooking flair will be showcased during a month-long immersive culinary residency at the resort beginning March 11 and continuing until April 8. The event begins with a weekend event and Beachside Bonfire Party hosted by Chef Johnson, with handcrafted cocktails and live cooking demonstrations that utilize freshly caught fish and locally grown produce.

The following day, visitors will find a Saturday Beach Party at Leon’s on Meads Bay, featuring a menu with yakitori-style small bites and tropical drinks. Events planned for the final day revolve around a Southern Soulful Brunch with favorites including Chef Johnson’s chicken and waffles, barbecue shrimp and grits, all served with Caribbean-infused brunch cocktails and live music.
