As the sun peaks in its 11-year cycle, known as the solar maximum, there has been a surge in the intensity and frequency of the Aurora Borealis. This tour is an exclusive opportunity for guests to witness the northern lights at their most spectacular.

Guests will travel to the heart of Alaska’s auroral oval, a prime location for viewing the northern lights. By night, visitors hunt for the mesmerizing displays of color from a cozy, family-owned lodge with stunning panoramic views. When the aurora is active, travelers will receive a personal wake-up call to ensure no one will miss a single moment of the celestial show. Professional photographers will also be on hand to teach guests how to capture the perfect shot of these dancing lights.

During the day, the adventure continues with a variety of authentic Alaskan experiences. Tour highlights include dogsledding through snowy forests with a local musher; learning the game of curling from enthusiastic locals; enjoying a meal and hearing stories from a family of off-grid homesteaders; soaking in the natural, steaming waters of a geothermal hot spring; sharing tea with a family of reindeer herders and hiking with their friendly animals; and exploring a unique ice sculpture museum.
