Tour operator Up Norway invites foodie travelers on a luxurious culinary journey. The new 14-day Culinary Discovery Route introduces travelers to Norway’s unique culinary heritage. Designed for six guests, the tour features Michelin-starred dining, hands-on culinary experiences, tours, cooking classes and more.
Day 1–3
The journey begins in Bergen, Norway, with a culinary walking tour of the city, sampling local food and beverages. On the second day, guests embark on a private culinary fjord adventure including fishing, foraging and preparing their fresh catch. On day three, guests visit Feddie Ocean Distillery and learn about whiskey making by utilizing ocean aging techniques. In the evenings, guests dine at Colonialen, BARE or Lysverket.

Day 4–5
Explore Bekkjarvik Harbor. Go on a private farm visit to Ostegården, known for its award-winning cheese. Learn about cheesemaking and traditional Norwegian dairy practices. Spend time exploring the island, take part in cooking classes and enjoy a meal at seaside restaurant Olaskjæret.
Day 6–7
Travel to Rosendal for a private cider farm visit and dining experience at Iris/Salmon Eye. The floating restaurant and art installation promises travelers a culinary experience they won’t soon forget.

Day 8
Drive along the scenic route through Ryfylke, taking in Norway’s stunning landscapes. End the day with dinner at Energihotellet and a beer tasting of traditional Norwegian farmhouse ale.
Day 9–10
Experience a unique salmon safari. The adventure includes a guided river tour, guided hike, and discussion of salmon habits and habitats.

Day 11–14
The journey ends in Stavanger. Enjoy dinner at Renaa or Hermetikken. Explore the city and take a boat trip to the garden island of Flor og Fjære, home to intimate restaurants.
