Not a fan of the great outdoors? You might be, after you experience the French-inspired glamping offered by Huttopia. The new Huttopia Southern Maine is situated in Sanford, Maine, amid majestic forests just a few miles from the shore. The glamping site is open through Oct. 20.

Lodging ranges from large and small wood and canvas tents, to modern chalets to more rustic accommodations. One of the most popular options is the signature Trappeur Tent, inspired by historic lodgings used by Canadian fur trappers. The Trappeur Tent fits up to five guests and includes a private bathroom and shower, electrical outlets and a kitchenette with a stove, fridge and sink.

Beyond the accommodations, there are plenty of camp-appropriate activities, including yoga classes, canoe rentals, lawn games and live music. On-site dining serves family favorites as well as French-inspired menu items, but you’re also welcome to prepare your own food within your lodging.
