“We get that travel is evolving, and travelers are seeking safety and protection like never before,” said Doug Skoog, head of marketing, Freely. “With tremendous response and enthusiasm for Freely from Australian travelers over the past three years, we are excited to introduce this comprehensive solution with round-the-clock emergency support and real-time safety alerts to the U.S. Our goal is to give travelers the protection and accessibility they need to travel more confidently and freely.”

The round-the-clock insurance comes with the company’s partnership with World Travel Protection, a global leader in travel risk management. Designed to be user-friendly, it offers travelers the option of a single platform for receiving a quote, paying, launching a claim, receiving real-time travel alerts and requesting medical aid or other assistance.

Originally founded in 2020, Freely also features a modular policy system that allows travelers to pay only for the coverage they choose on the dates they need it. This customizable feature is accompanied by live safety updates and 24/7 access to a team of experts in health, travel and security.
