SkySafari, from luxury safari operator Elewana Collection, entices travelers to treat the family to a luxurious private plane experience with a deal offering free travel in Kenya and Tanzania for children under the age of 12.
Through June 15, the SkySafari family offer provides savings of up to $4,476 on peak season fares for travel in the comfort of an executive-class Cessna Grand Caravan to the most diverse and iconic national parks in Kenya and Tanzania.
Benefits for families traveling on SkySafari include spacious business-class seating with fewer passengers and a fast-track airport experience, enabling travelers to depart quickly and arrive to their destinations on time and in comfort.
Additional advantages ideal for families include direct transfers between camps, butler service at all camps, varied child-focused activities at each of the properties, babysitting during meal times, children’s menus, fun distractions during tea or sundowner break allowing adults to enjoy their own time and guides trained to talk at age-appropriate levels on conservation and anti-poaching in family-friendly manners.
Highlights of SkySafari’s Kenya itinerary include accommodations at Hemingways in Nairobi, an exclusive boutique hotel boasting stunning views of the Ngong Hills; Elsa’s Kopje, a boutique lodge sculpted into the Mughwango Hill overlooking the rugged and remote Meru National Park; and Sand River Masai Mara camp, offering year-round game viewing of the Big Five in the Masai Mara National Reserve close to the Tanzanian border. The seven-night, eight-day journey starts from $6,520 per person, including flights, accommodation, park fees, transfers, game drives and bush activities.
Notable features of the Tanzania trip include a stay at Tarangire Treetrops, providing elevated guestrooms built around a 1,000-year-old baobab tree boasting scenic views of the Tarangire National Park; the Manor at Ngorongoro, a manor house with spacious cottages blending East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and décor; and either the Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp. The seven-night, eight-day itinerary starts from $6,824 per person.
With the deal, families need only worry about the cost of the international flights and maybe a souvenir or two as well as park fees for children at a cost of $155 per child for the Tanzania SkySafari and $370 per child for the Kenya SkySafari.
