W Dubai – The Palm opened as the first W property in the Middle East earlier in the month. The property is a W Escape, the brand’s version of a resort. It’s located on Palm Jumeirah, the largest manmade island in the world.

The property’s design and decor mimics its surroundings, with exterior signage and the valet area patterned after a riverbed covered in palm fronds. A five-story atrium serves as the lobby, outfitted with dramatic and eye-catching artwork inspired by Bedouin tribes and desert mountain ranges.

The property offers 350 guestrooms and suites. Public spaces include a pool deck facing the beach with views of the Dubai skyline. The spa provides 10 treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, experiential showers and a hamman. The fitness area overlooks the pool deck, with the same views. There are six food and beverage outlets, with options ranging from Italian to Japanese cuisine and South Beach-inspired bars to casual breakfast spaces.
