Insight Vacations, known for crafting luxury escorted journeys, expands its portfolio of special Luxury Gold Events with Oktoberfest in Bavaria, a nine-day journey to Vienna, Salzburg and Munich, departing Sept. 21.
“These Special Events allow our guests to experience some of the world’s most illustrious events in true VIP style,” said Phil Cappelli, president, Insight Vacations. “Oktoberfest is arguably one of the most anticipated celebrations of the year, and this Luxury Gold itinerary promises the best of the best: reservations in the festival’s famous Ochsenbraterei tent, a variety of notable five-star accommodations, and unforgettable dining experiences including the Michelin-starred restaurant Les Deux.”
The trip begins in Vienna, where highlights include Spanish Riding School, a horse-drawn carriage ride to a classical performance and dinner at the Imperial Hotel. In Salzburg, guests enjoy private tours of Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mozart’s birthplace and more.
After an orientation tour of Munich, it’s on to Oktoberfest’s Ochsenbraterei tent, before a visit to BMW the following day. Patrick von Richthofen, a descendant of the Red Baron, joins travelers for a celebration dinner at Michelin-starred Les Deux.
